Below you will find a list of various internal and external counseling and reporting offices on the topic of discrimination. These are mainly located in the city and canton of Zurich.

Do not hesitate to seek help from trained professionals.

UZH internal Offices

The University of Zurich has its own counseling center and legal help to which you can turn in case of sexual harassment. More information can be found via this link  Protection Against Sexual Harassment

The Disability Office (Fachstelle Studium und Behinderung) is the UZH competence center for topics related to equality for people with disabilities or chronic illness, inclusion, equal opportunities, accessibility and compensation for disadvantages.

External Offices

Did you experience or witness sexual discrimination or harassment? The organisation CLASH Zurich offers a helpline.

The "Schlichtungsbehörde nach Gleichstellungsgesetz" is not a counselling service, but provides legal information by phone on the validity and content of the equal treatment law.

An information and counselling portal for the prevention of sexual and sexist harassment at the workplace. Free, confidential online counselling for the person concerned in all cantons of Switzerland. A response follows within three workdays.

Frauenberatung

The Women's Counselling Service is a support centre recognised by the canton of Zurich. It offers support an counselling for women affected by sexual and /or domestic violence, as well as for relatives and health care professionals. The counselling session are free of charge and confidential.
