Objectives

The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zurich intends to maintain and further expand its leading role as a teaching and research institution in the global arena. To this end, it makes all efforts to ensure the highest possible quality standards in its work. Outstanding scientific work is being done in Zurich in the various areas of basic medical research and in applied clinical research.

The promotion of national and international partnerships in the spirit of competitive cooperation is one of the strategic objectives of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zurich. Young researchers are offered training, continuing education and research activities in order to achieve levels of excellence.
