UZH Innovation Hub Launches New Support Programs for Researchers

The UZH Innovation Hub empowers master graduates and early career researchers to transform research-based ideas into real-world applications. Two major funding programs and a workshop series are now open for applications.

The UZH Innovation Hub at the University of Zurich is offering two key programs to support researchers in bringing their ideas to life: the UZH Innovation Grant and the UZH Entrepreneur Fellowship. The UZH Innovation Grant is designed for early-stage research-based innovations, providing funding and guidance to validate their potential impact on society and the economy. The application deadline is March 1st. The UZH Entrepreneur Fellowship supports the implementation of research-based solutions and the launch of spin-offs, focusing on Bio & MedTech, Digital Innovation, and Sustainable Society. Applications for this program close on April 15th, 2026. Additionally, the Entrepreneurial Skills workshop series, starting in March, offers hands-on training in innovation and entrepreneurship.

The UZH Innovation Hub encourages the dissemination of these programs through LinkedIn, newsletters, and websites. These initiatives are part of the Hub’s mission to bridge the gap between research and real-world impact, fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.
